Post OMG 2 success, Akshay Kumar starts shooting for Sky Force in Lucknow

Akshay Kumar is among the busiest actors in Bollywood. His recently released film OMG 2 crossed the 100 crore mark and emerged as one of the highest grossers of 2023. The actor has a slew of interesting projects in his kitty for the upcoming year. He has begun the shoot for the aviation thriller Sky Force.

Akshay Kumar commences shoot for Sky Force

On Thursday afternoon, Akshay Kumar arrived in Lucknow for the shooting of the film. The filming is underway at the PAC Battalion in Sitapur, which has been converted into an air base for the movie. Sharing details of the shoot schedule, a source close to the development revealed to a news portal, “After landing around 3 pm, the OMG2 actor went to a hotel before flying to the shoot location where a team of over 350 people had already set the stage for the shoot since August 18. Earlier, the shoot was scheduled to start from August 19 but due to some unknown reasons it got delayed. The schedule for Sitapur is for around 12 days and thereafter the shoot will be held in Lucknow for another 15 days.”

The film also stars actresses Sara Ali Khan and Nimrat Kaur, along with newcomer Veer Pahariya in the pivotal roles. They are expected to head for the shoot in the upcoming days. The film marks his second outing with Sara and Nimrat after Atrangi Re and Airlift.

Apart from this, the actor has interesting projects in his pipeline. He has completed the shoot of Housefull 5 and it will release on November 24. Apart from this, the actor is a part of franchises of some of his popular films like Welcome 3 and Phir Hera Pheri. He will reunite with Kesari co-star Parineeti Chopra for The Great India Rescue. The OMG 2 actor also has Bade Miyan Chote Miyan with Tiger Shroff.
