‘Kabir Singh’: Prabhas is mighty impressed with Shahid Kapoor after watching the teaser

Shahid Kapoor‘s ‘Kabir Singh’ is one of the most anticipated movies of the year. A few days back, the teaser of ‘Kabir Singh’ got released and it was superb. From celebs to Shahid’s fans, everyone is raving about the teaser. Also, ‘Baahubali’ star Prabhas watched it and called Shahid. As per a report in DNA, Prabhas was mighty impressed and spoke to Shahid for around 7-odd minutes and congratulated him.

Aalim Hakim, the celebrity hair stylist informed DNA that he was with Prabhas when the teaser released and he decided to connect both the stars. Hakim said, “I was in Hyderabad shooting for ‘Saaho’ with Prabhas, and the teaser of ‘Kabir Singh’ had just launched online. Prabhas checked it out and loved it. Even his team members, who have enjoyed ‘Arjun Reddy’, felt that Shahid looked brilliant. Seeing Prabhas’ reaction to the promo, I called up Shahid and handed him the phone. The former praised him and said that ‘Kabir Singh’ looks even better than the original. Both of them chatted for a good seven-odd minutes.”

‘Kabir Singh’ is a remake of the blockbuster Telugu film, ‘Arjun Reddy’ that had Vijay Deverakonda and Shalini Pandey. The movie has been direcetd by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Shahid turns into a rebel and follows the path of self-destruction after his girlfriend (Kiara Advani), gets married to someone else. The movie is slated to hit the theatres on June 21.
