Prernaa Arora vashu bhagnani

Back in 2018, veteran producer Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment had filed an FIR in June against Prernaa Arora after her production company KriArj Entertainment passed on the rights of ‘Kedarnath’ to Ronnie Screwvala. The rights were first acquired by Bhagnani. Prernaa was arrested Mumbai’s Economic Offence Wing in a case of criminal breach of trust.

Bhagnani had claimed that he suffered a loss of around Rs 32 crore because of this illegal transfer of rights. Prernaa in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble opened up about the misunderstanding with Vashu. Prernaa also said that if she has hurt the veteran producer’s feelings then would like to deeply apologize to him.

Presenting her side of the story in this particular case, Prernaa told Bollywood Bubble, “There was a problem between me and Vashu ji over distribution rights of a few films. I completely agree that somewhere I have hurt him also because I think I could have mended things in a better way. The right approach was not there my attitude was wrong. He (Vashu) is a senior, I could have met him personally and sorted out our problems. Peace is always the best way to solve your problems but I didn’t do that neither I asked help from anyone. So in the entire industry, I was working with everyone but I did not seek help because I am shy. But that was a mistake on my part. There was a misunderstanding and a lot of people took undue advantage of that.”

She further added, “My father later told me that I should have approached the issue in a better way. He is a veteran producer and my senior, I should have gone to him and maybe apologise to him. Even if I was right or wrong I could have sorted matters by having a word with him at that time. But I have no idea what made him do all that he did against me in such a cruel manner. It was not deserving at all. Again I am saying if I have hurt him or his feelings I would like to apologise to him totally and given a chance I would like to work with him again. I feel let bygones be bygones.”
