Today Priyanka Chopra was speaking at a Facebook event called ‘Social For Good’. According to a report in the PinkVilla, the discussion revolved around mental health, depression and how social media can play its role. Commenting on trollers Priyanka Chopra said, “Trollers have their own life. If they do negative comment, why not focus on the positive comments.”

Priyanka Chopra gave an example of insensitive trolling faced by her on social media and said, “I posted a picture with my dog Diana and I got comments like you are going nowhere just like that dog. You are not even Indian anymore. I was said I look like over cooked tomato on my selfie.”

The actress further said that people on social media have the nastiest thing to say but they would never say it on the face. The observations made by Priyanka Chopra on trolling are totally correct. Social media trolling in recent past has become very ugly, disgusting and sometimes in the garb of criticism, it is downright vulgar. Priyanka Chopra has always walked the talk on issues concerning society and it comes as no surprise as she has taken the high road.
