Raja Chaudhary REACTS To Palak Tiwari-Ibrahim Ali Khan Dating Rumours; Says, “Ask Her Mother, Why Should I Care?”

Actor Raja Chaudhary is someone known for speaking his mind. During a recent a chat, Raja didn’t mince his words when asked about his relationship with his daughter, Palak Tiwari, ever since he separated from his ex-wife, actor Shweta Tiwari. Chaudhary, while sharing he knows nothing about her career also got candid about her personal life, aka rumours of her dating Bollywood actor Ibrahim Ali Khan. Read on to know all he said.

While on Siddharth Kannan’s YouTube channel, Raja Chaudhary was asked his views about Palak Tiwari working with Salman Khan and whether he’s proud of her making a name for herself. He replied, “I don’t know (if I’m proud). I have no idea where is she, what is she eating, what is she doing, where is she living, whom she’s living with, what is she working with. I don’t want to know even, unless she comes and tells me, ‘Dad, this is happening’. I’m there for her 24/7, if I’m needed. But, I’m not needed in her life at all.”

During the same conversation, Raja was also asked how he feels when he reads reports about Palak dating Ibrahim Ali Khan. In response, the actor said he feels indifferent as he never got the chance to feel possessive of Palak. He said, “How does it even matter if they’re together or not? I don’t feel anything. She’s not living in isolation in some jungle for it to be a big deal. It matters to a father if the daughter has maintained a relationship. Ask her mother how she feels about it. Why should I care? I am just a biological father, that’s what I was told. I have nothing to do with her, I was told. What do you want me to feel?”

Citing his father as an example, Raja stated that his father tells him things because he listens to him.

Raja Chaudhary and Shweta Tiwari tied the knot in 1998 and were blessed with daughter, Palak, in 2000. After a couple of years together as a happy family, Shweta filed for divorce in 2007, alleging she suffered domestic violence due to his alcoholism. The ‘Kasautii Zindagi Kay’ actress also stated that he would get physically abusive and even turn up on the sets of her TV shows and misbehave. However, Raja has denied these claims. The duo were granted divorce in 2012.

A few years after the divorce, Raja married corporate professional Shveta Sood in 2015. In an interview, he revealed that she was a friend who helped him during his divorce proceedings. He even moved to Delhi to be with her. Alas, in 2022 they too divorced due to issues stemming from his alcoholism. Shweta married actor Abhinav Kohli in 2013, and welcomed son Reyansh Kohli in 2016.
