Veteran actor Ramesh Deo passes away: Madhuri Dixit, Urmila Matondkar & other celebs pay condolences

In an unfortunate turn of events, Veteran actor Ramesh Deo passed away on Wednesday (February 3) in Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, Mumbai at the age of 93.

Ramesh’s son Ajinkya confirmed the news about his father’s demise to the Times Of India and said: “Papa had heart complications and had also undergone a bypass surgery, We rushed him today to the hospital but he had a massive cardiac arrest. The last rites will be performed tomorrow.”

Several celebrities like Madhuri Dixit, Urmila Matondkar, Madhur Bhandarkar, and others paid condolences to the late actor Ramesh Deo.

Ramesh has worked in more than 285 Hindi films, 190 Marathi films and 30 Marathi dramas with over 200 showings in his long career. He has worked in several movies including Anand, Aapki Kasam, Mere Apne, Mr. India, Khilona, Hulchul among others.

The actor, who is survived by his actor-wife Seema Deo and two children- Ajinkya Deo and Abhinay Deo. Recently, he had celebrated his 93rd birthday on January 30.
