According to the latest reports, the set of Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer has caught massive fire. The fire broke out in Chitrakoot Studios, Andheri West, Mumbai. However, the reason behind the breakout is still unknown. Sources told BT, “Shooting essentials and equipment stored on the ground have been burned down. Losses are bound to be immense. While a few crew members have been injured, fortunately, there has been no loss of life.

However, the producer of the film, Boney Kapoor, who also be seen as an actor in the movie informed BT that there have been no casualties and that everyone is okay. He told the portal, “Everyone’s okay. By God’s grace, there have been no casualties. Only lightning work was going on today. Everyone was preparing for tomorrow’s shoot. The shooting was to take place on this set tomorrow.”

Janhvi Kapoor’s father Boney Kapoor said, “I don’t know what happened. We don’t have the details yet but I am assuming it could be a short circuit.” The film faced delay due to Covid already and the losses incurred due to fire won’t be negligible either.”

The untitled next is helmed by Luv Ranjan that stars Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. Whereas Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia will essay on the role of parents.

On Ranbir Kapoor’s professional front, he will be next seen in Brahmastra and Animal, apart from Luv Ranjan’s untitled next. Whereas Shraddha Kapoor has Naagin.
