Randhir Kapoor has tested positive for Covid-19 and is hospitalized in Mumbai, as per reports. Randhir is 74. As per a report in Pinkvilla, Dr Santosh Shetty CEO and Executive Director of the hospital has released an official statement where he revealed that Randhir’s condition is stable. The statement stated, “Veteran actor Shri Randhir Kapoor is admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital Mumbai for Covid-19 Treatment last night. His condition remains stable”. Randhir’s daughters Kareena or Karisma Kapoor have shared nothing on social media about their dad’s health as of now.

It was in March this year, Ranbir Kapoor tested positive for Covid-19 in the second wave. Randhir had informed PTI, “Ranbir is absolutely fine now. He is alright. I have met him”. He also said that he was unaware of Ranbir’s negative report.

The Kapoor family is currently in the news on late Rajiv Kapoor’s property settlement matter. The Bombay High Court had asked Randhir Kapoor and his sister Rima Jain to submit the divorce decree of Rajiv Kapoor in this property-related case. Talking to IANS, Randhir said the divorce papers are needed in order to get probate made. He said, “My brother is divorced. I have got to get the probate made. For that, I need his divorce papers. He used to stay in Pune and here. I can’t find it and I am tracing it. I have put a tracer on it and people are working on it. I don’t know where he has kept it. He is not here”.

Rajiv Kapoor passed away on February 9. Rajiv married Aarti Sabharwal in 2001 and they got divorced after two years. Post his death, a petition was filed by Randhir Kapoor and sister Rima Jain to obtain letters of administration to the property and credits owned by Rajiv.
