Bollywood heartthrob Ranveer Singh, who has been making headlines for his rapping skills, is likely to sing a song in a concert to promote his upcoming film ‘Gully Boy’. Ever since ‘Gully Boy’s trailer was uploaded on the internet, people from all walks of life showered praises for his versatility. The film is based on the lives of two Indian rappers – Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy.

The makers of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Gully oy’ have unveiled its second song ‘Mere Gully Mein’ today. The song ‘Mere Gully Mein’ has the ‘Padmaavat’ star standing head to head with real-life rapper Naezy in a mic drop battle. As per reports, the ‘Padmaavat’ actor will be seen showing his singing skills in a concert to promote Zoya Akhtar’s film ‘Gully Boy’.

According to a report published in mid-day, ‘Simmba’ actor will perform with well-known rappers Divine and Naezy. It will be interesting to see Ranveer performing live in a concert. Talking about the concert, director Zoya Akhtar told the tabloid, “It will be an electric evening. We are excited about the music launch as we will have our artistes performing at the gig. There is no other way to drop this album than to slam it live.”

On the professional front, Alia Bhatt has lined up several projects including ‘Kalank’ and ‘Brahmastra‘. Ranveer Singh will be seen in Karan Johar’s multi-starrer film ‘Takht’ and ’83’.

Directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment in association with Tiger Baby, ‘Gully Boy’ is scheduled to release on February 14.
