Ranveer Singh’s reaction to Deepika Padukone’s wax statue: ‘Original Toh Mere Paas Hai’

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had left for London with their parents to attend the unveiling of Deepika’s Madame Tussauds wax figure. The unveiling of the statue was streamed live on Instagram to the delight of the fans of the ‘Padmaavat’ star. In the video, we could see a smitten Ranveer Singh circling the wax figure with a look of admiration on his face asking if he could take her home.

Today, the ‘Gully Boy’ actor took to his social media handle and shared several pictures from the museum on his Instagram profile. In one of the pictures, Ranveer can be seen admiring Deepika’s wax statue. But what caught our attention was the caption.

Ranveer had written, “Original toh mere paas hai” with the hashtag “#twomuchtohandle.” He soon got a response from his wife who wrote, “Now you know where to go when you miss me too much,” followed by kiss and heart emojis.

On the work front, Deepika Padukone is currently gearing up for Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Chhapaak’. The film is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh’s next film is Kabir Khan’s ’83’, which is based on India’s iconic win at the 1983 Cricket World Cup. He will be seen playing the role of Kapil Dev in the film.

Deepika’s last big release was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Padmaavat”, co-starring Ranveer and Shahid Kapoor, while Ranveer was last seen in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ alongside Alia Bhatt.
