Ranveer Singh shot for 20 hours a day to wrap Simmba shoot ahead of wedding with Deepika Padukone, reveals Rohit Shetty

Ranveer Singh is one of the most loved actors of Bollywood. Ranveer dropped Cirkus trailer on Friday and it received a good response from his fans. Ranveer will be seen in a double role in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film. Rohit and Ranveer earlier worked together on Simmba. At the Cirkus trailer launch, Rohit recalled how Ranveer shot for 20 hours a day to complete Simmba shoot on time. The filmmaker also revealed that the actor was about to get married to Deepika Padukone at that time.

Rohit was quoted by TOI saying, “I remember when we were doing Simmba, he was about to get married, so we had to wrap the film on time. We used to work 20 hours a day and his energy used to be the same as it was in the morning. In fact, I think he becomes more energetic in the evening. His dedication is the reason he becomes a favourite of everyone he works with.”

Ranveer and Deepika got married on November 14, 2018. The couple’s wedding took place in the presence of their close friends and family members. Since getting married, Deepika and Ranveer always give fans major relationship goals.

For the uninitiated, Deepika has a cameo in Ranveer starrer Cirkus. The actress has a special dance number in the film. The makers of Cirkus teased fans with Deepika’s cameo in the trailer. Fans are beyond excited for it. Ranveer and Deepika are one of the most loved onscreen pairs of Bollywood. They have worked together in films like Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, Goliyon Ki Raasleela – Ram Leela and 83.

On the other hand, Cirkus also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde. The film is slated to release on 23rd December, 2022.

Talking about Deepika, she has Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. The film will release on 25^th January, 2023. The actress also has the Hindi remake of the American film, The Intern with Amitabh Bachchan. Apart from that, Deepika also has Project K with Prabhas, Big B and Disha Patani.
