Raveena Tandon, Esha Gupta raise their voices against a Nilgai being buried alive in Bihar

We have come across yet another heinous crime meted out to animals. A video is trending on social media where we see a blue bull (Nilgai) buried alive in Vaishali district of Bihar. The video has gone viral and it is facing flak from the netizens on social media. In the video, we see a JCB machine pushing the antelope into a deep pit and dumping it with soil alive in the pit.

Bollywood celebs like Raveena Tandon and Esha Gupta have condemned this horrifying act. Taking to their Twitter handles, they have criticised the act.

Esha Gupta called the act “new level of sadistic”.

Shouldn’t the people involved in killing the nilgai(even burying alive) get capital punishment or life imprisonment? Same as you will for killing a human, this is a new level of sadistic..

As per reports, nilgais are being killed in Bihar because they have been damaging crops. Reportedly, the Bihar government has ordered the killing of 300 nilgais in the state. The police have now lodged an FIR against the driver of the earthmover who buried the antelope alive.
