REAL TO REEL: Diljit Dosanjh aces the look of hockey player Sandeep Singh

The makers of the Sandeep Singh biopic have finally released the first look of the movie. Lead actress Taapsee Pannu took to her social media page and shared the first look which has the hashtag #DontLetThisStoryPass and has the dual faces of real-life hockey player Sandeep Singh and actor Diljit Dosanjh who plays his character onscreen. We love how Sandeep Singh and Diljit Dosanjh’s half side of faces have been exposed depicting that they are two sides of the same coin.

The Punjabi star took to Twitter to post this intriguing poster and wrote, “A winner wins the game, here’s one who will win all your hearts! Revealing soon…#DontLetThisStoryPass ”

Reportedly, the movie is a love story between the characters of Taapsee Pannu and Diljit Dosanjh who are playing the role of hockey players in the movie. In a statement, Taapsee had said, “I was really looking forward to joining this film as sports is an important part of my life. Shooting at one of my most favourite places in India, Punjab…. With a few days of hockey sessions already completed and many more to come, I am looking forward to playing on my home ground.” Sandeep Singh is the former captain of the Indian national hockey team. “Shaad Ali’s film is a biopic shown from a love story perspective. It is a very commercial and young film. I am playing a national level hockey player in the film and the character is based on a real person. The girl existed but we are not disclosing who she was as of now. I am really excited for that.” The actress added. The movie also stars Angad Bedi in it who has also been seen perfecting his Hockey moves.

Apart from this movie, Taapsee will also be seen in a social thriller named ‘Mulk’ the shooting of which was wrapped up recently.
