Will Rhea Chakraborty take legal action against those who defamed her? Here’s what her lawyer has to say

Sushant Singh Rajput’s family has named his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has the prime accused in their FIR. Ever since then several allegations and accusations have been made against the actress. She was recently granted bail by the Bombay High Court in the NDPS case filed by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). And according to the latest reports, Rhea is now all set to take action all those people who made false claims and shared fake stories thereby defaming her.

Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde has confirmed she will be taking action against all those people who made false claims against her in order to gain publicity.

Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Maneshinde said, “We will be forwarding a list of people to the CBI who made fake and false claims on TV and electronic media, including carrying mobile recording and fake stories on the SSR case with particular reference to Rhea Chakraborty to go after them and record their statements. We will request the CBI to take legal proceedings against them for misleading the investigations.”

He even said that they will be going after everyone who tried to destroy her life for two-minute fame on electronic media carrying fake news against her. Maneshinde even spoke about Rhea’s neighbour who had claimed that an eyewitness had informed her that Sushant dropped Rhea at her place on June 13.

“The neighbour said that she is an SSR fan, and believes she is his soul-mate due to a past life connection. She claims that someone told her that SSR dropped RC home on the 13th. It’s a baseless rumour by a fan who is part of the media circus and wants to share the limelight with others who claim to know SSR,” Rhea’s lawyer told the tabloid.

Meanwhile, though Rhea is out on bail, her brother Showik Chakraborty continues to be in NCB’s custody. For more details on this case, stay tuned to this space.
