Sachin Tendulkar tests COVID positive; Abhishek Bachchan, Akshara Haasan wish him speedy recovery

With the spike in Covid cases, several celebs have also contracted the deadly virus in the last few days. Earlier today, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar shared the news with his fans and followers that he has tested positive for Covid-19.

The legendary cricketer also informed that he has quarantined himself at home and is following all the necessary protocols as advised by the doctors. Several Bollywood celebs like Abhishek Bachchan, Akshara Haasan and Nila Madhab Pandya wished the former cricketer a speedy recovery.

Sharing his health update with his fans and followers, Sachin took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay. However, I’ve tested positive today following mild symptoms. All other at home have tested negative.” 

He further added, “I’ve quarantined myself at home and am following all necessary protocols as advised by my doctors. I want to thank all the healthcare professionals who are supporting me and many others across the country. Take care all of you(sic).”

Wishing Sachin a speedy recovery, Abhishek Bachchan wrote, “Get well soon Sachin. Wish you the speediest of recoveries. Praying for you.”

I Am Kalam director Nila Madhab Panda also sent his speedy recovery wishes to Master Blaster Sachin. “Get well soon, wishing you a speedy recovery Sachin, praying for your health,” Madhab tweeted.
