Ever since the second season of the hit web series ‘Sacred Games’ was out, an Indian expat in Sharjah was flooded with several unwanted calls. Now, you must be wondering what’s the connection between ‘Sacred Games’ and that Indian expat? Well, the first episode of the show’s latest season gave out the number of one of its characters – gangster Sulaiman Isa.

Now, as per a report in Gulf News, a Kerala native Kunhabdulla CM was flooded with several phone calls as the number belongs to him. Even though the scene in the show hardly reveals the number, it was the subtitles that gives it away.

Interestingly, Kunhabdulla has no inkling about what ‘Sacred Games’ is or which the actor stars in it. Talking about the nightmare the leaked number has caused, Kunhabdulla shared, “I don’t know what is happening. Hearing my phone ring sends shivers down my spine. I want to cancel my number. I want this problem to go away.”

He further asked, “What’s Sacred Games? A video game? I work from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. I don’t have time for such things. I got more than 30 calls (on Sunday) and it’s draining my battery. In the last one hour, I got five calls asking for someone called Isa… Who is Isa? I don’t have anything to do with him.”

Soon after realising their mistake, Netflix issued an apology. “We apologise for any inconvenience caused. As soon as we were alerted to the situation, we resolved the issue and removed the phone number from the subtitles,” Netflix’s statement read.

Well, let’s hope this ends Kunhabdulla’s problem. ‘Sacred Games’ stars Saif Ali Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role. The show’s second season premiered on August 15.
