‘Sacred Games 2’: Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan have THIS to say about directing the sequel

‘Sacred Games’ is set to return with its second season to create a lot more drama and suspense. The show stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui who will be portrayed as a rich businessman this time around and Saif Ali Khan who will be the saviour of the city, along with Pankaj Tripathi the infamous Khanna Guruji.

Reports say that Anurag Kashyap has continued to narrate gangster Gaitonde’s story, ‘Masaan‘ director Neeraj Ghaywan, has stepped in to direct Sartaj’s track. Vikramaditya Motwane has decided to focus solely as show runner of the show.

According to a report by Firstpost, Anurag and Neeraj shared their experience of directing the series. Anurag explained that although the challenge of directing the show was tough but, since everyone has their space it was a smooth process. He said, “We all had different roles. Neeraj had to focus on what he was shooting, and Vikram had to focus on bringing it together.

He explained that although it was a fun process he will still run away a day before the release he said, “I enjoy creative challenges, and it is always fun to explore new things and get into the heads of other characters, writers, fancy things, and then put it on. But as usual, I will run away just before the release with too much of anxiety happening.

When asked what new is in this season Neeraj said, “Season 1 was more of what for you, and season 2 is how and why of it. There are many more characters, the scale is bigger, and the investigation has become way bigger.
