Saif Ali Khan's 'Chef' goes on floors in October

Saif Ali Khan is all ready to enter the kitchen, and spruce up some delicious treats! Well, not in reality, but for his movie ‘Chef’, for which he will start shooting, this October. A remake of a Hollywood film of the same name, this comedy-drama would be helmed by ‘Airlift’ director Raja Krishna Menon.

According to a source quoted by an agency, “The film will go on floors this October and we will soon lock the release date. The film is set in India… we will travel to a lot of places from Kerala to Goa to Delhi to Rajasthan to Punjab. Also, we might be going to Europe for a small portion.”

Saif Ali Khan who had donned the chef’s cap earlier in his romantic comedy flick ‘Salaam Namaste’ will start prepping up for this role by taking formal training in learning culinary skills around next week.

“He (Saif) has started his basic training for the film. He will start learning culinary skills next week under the guidance of professionals (chefs),” added the source.

The makers of this Hindi remake are yet to finalize a lead actress opposite Bollywood’s Nawab and some other pivotal parts as well.

Till then, Saif Ali Khan is currently shooting for ‘Kala Kanti’ directed by the ‘Delhi Belly’ writer Akshat Verma.
