Nowadays, multiple highly-anticipated movies are reportedly getting shelved. Films like Inshallah, Takht are said to have been shelved. Joining the bandwagon, it was recently reported that actor Salman Khan’s ​most-awaited film, ​Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali has also been deferred. It was said that Salman had backed out from the film after witnessing the failure of​ his previous film,​ Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai and Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero. As Bhaijaan’s fans were disappointed, the film’s production house, Nadiadwala Grandson simply refuted this ‘fake news’. 

Replying to a news portal, they have denied ​the rumours on ​the movie​ getting​ shelved while asserting that the shoot​ will​ begin in two months​ as the set has been constructed​. They wrote, “We would like to deny all the #FakeNews #EmbarassingJournalism The set is being constructed & songs have already been recorded. Shooting begins in 2 Months” Well, now fans can rejoice as the movie is indeed in the making. Reacting to this new development, a fan said, “Thanks for giving clarity” while another one made an unusual request, “Please make him wear nice clothes…. Style nicely…He is looking so dashing these days.. let’s set the big screen on fire at his presence”

Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is helmed by Farhad Samji. Apart from Salman Khan, it also stars Pooja Hedge, Kriti Sanon and Aayush Sharma.

Meanwhile, Salman is currently shooting for his upcoming film, Tiger 3, along with Katrina Kaif in Russia and Turkey. The two headed to the countries in August to shoot the last schedule of the film. Salman will be reprising his role as RAW agent Tiger while Katrina will be seen as Pakistani spy Zoya in the film. This is the third installment of YRF’s biggest spy franchise.

Besides Tiger 3, Salman also has Antim: The Final Truth with his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, Kick 2 with Jacqueline Fernandez.
