After a controversial first season, India’s Got Latent is returning with a confirmed premiere on Netflix and YouTube. Nearly a month ago, a photo of Alpha actors Alia Bhatt and Sharvari on the set of the show went viral, sparking speculation that the second season would feature the duo as guests. Now, that speculation has been officially confirmed by Samay Raina himself.

The comedian shared the first episode of India’s Got Latent Season 2 on Instagram, including a YouTube link. The video’s thumbnail features Samay Raina, Alia Bhatt and Sharvari laughing, with Alia sporting a cap that has “Alpha” written on it. The photo also shows Samay, comedian Ashish Solanki, and Balraj Ghai. Along with sharing the link, Samay tagged Alia and Sharvari and captioned the post, “Are we ready to start the show?”

IGL Season 2 To Premiere On Netflix & YouTube

The new season will premiere on both Netflix and YouTube this Saturday evening. The Netflix version will be ad-free, while the YouTube version will include commercials.

Season 1 of the show, which was streamed on YouTube, faced massive backlash due to guest Ranveer Allahbadia’s remarks in one episode. The incident led to widespread criticism, multiple FIRs, and legal challenges. The venue, The Habitat, where the show was shot, was also vandalised. Following the controversy, Samay had to remove all episodes of the show from YouTube. He later announced the second season during his comedy special, Still Alive.
