In the last four years, we have come closer to each other. He is not only an actor for me. He is more than an actor – a friend, a well-wisher, a guardian. He is younger than me but behaves like a guardian. I never blamed him for the failure of the film. Why should I? If he wouldn’t have been there, the film would never have been made. If anybody is responsible for the failure of ‘Samrat Prithviraj’, it is me. I don’t understand my audience,” the director of Samrat Prithviraj told the portal.

Meanwhile, some days back, the captain of the ship Dr Dwivedi spoke about the failure of his ambitious film. “We failed to understand the mood of the people. We made the film on a big scale, but people could not connect with the film. Still don’t understand what is wrong with them. The writers did their work with utmost sincerity. We have not tampered with the facts of history. We understand this responsibility very well,” he told The Times Of India.
