Sana Khan roped in to play Akshay Kumar’s girlfriend in ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’

Actress Sana Khan, whose last venture ‘Wajah Tu Ho’ also starring Gurmeet Choudhary and Sharman Joshi proved to be a dud at the box office, is all set to return with her next venture.

Sana has been added to the star-cast of ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar. The actress will be seen playing Akshay’s girlfriend in the movie.

Even though her role is said to be a cameo, it will be an extended and pivotal one. Sana will be seen sporting a desi avatar in this film, since the movie is set against the backdrop of rural India. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the movie is said to be a film about open defecation, a problem faced mainly in small towns and villages.

‘Toilet- Ek Prem Katha’ will hit the theatres on the 2nd of June, 2017.
