Sanya Malhotra on her geeky look in ‘Shakuntala Devi’: With the look in place, I got into her shoes easily

Sanya Malhotra has a plate full of interesting characters and she will surely make 2020 memorable with all her upcoming films. This year, Sanya has three releases lined up- ‘Shakuntala Devi’, ‘Pagglait’ and ‘Ludo’.

Every actor has a distinct process of preparing for their roles, and Sanya says she thoroughly enjoyed the process of prepping before a film. Talking about how she geared up for ‘Shakuntala Devi’ where she plays the role of the title character’s daughter, Anupama Banerjee, Sanya said, “My character in Shakuntala Devi is based on a real person, her daughter Anupama Banerjee. I believe that 70% of our job is done by the makeup and hair department. With the look in place, I got into her shoes easily. My director, too, helped me a lot to understand my character in the movie.”

Sanya has always accepted the many shades of different portrayals and now too, she is all set to own this year with her three releases. With her aspirations, talent, and sincerity, she has excelled in every character that came her way. Her fans are looking forward to watching her on the big screen once again.
