Sarzameen First Look OUT! Ibrahim Ali Khan Steals The Show With His Raw, Rugged Look As Kajol, Prithviraj Sukumaran Bring In The Emotions – Watch

Karan Johar is all set to take the audience on an emotional journey filled with tons of patriotism with Dharma Productions’ upcoming film Sarzameen. Starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Kajol and Ibrahim Ali Khan in the lead roles, the makers unveiled the film’s first look earlier today and it’s sure to hype the buzz around the action-drama. Sarzameen First Look

Sharing the first look on his Instagram account, Karan Johar captioned it, “Sarzameen ki salamati se badhkar kuch nahi 🇮🇳 #Sarzameen, releasing July 25, only on @jiohotstar!” The film’s leading stars too shared the teaser alongiwith the same caption. Check it out here:

Earlier today, the makers of Sarzameen released the film’s first poster and it shows Prithviraj Sukumaran as a strict and upright army officer who will willingly scarifies all he has for his country and the nation always comes first. The first look showcases Kajol as Prithviraj’s emotional wife, who is battling different emotions throughout the 1-minute video. The clip showcases a sweet moment between the couple.

After seeing him in a romantic role, Ibrahim now showcases his acting capabilities with a raw and intense role. As seen in the clip, Ibrahim sports a bearded look as well as tons of slash marks across his back. The video shows him fighting a person bare body in the start and then dressed in an army uniform with his gun pointed at Prithviraj in the end.

About The Film

Talking about Sarzameen, the Kayoze Irani direcgtorial is set against the backdrop of an increasingly volatile Kashmir. It follows the lives of Vijay Menon (Prithviraj) – known for his unshakeable sense of duty and personal sacrifice, Meera (Kajol) – Vijay’s wife who fights to hold the family together and Harman (Ibrahim) – a young man caught between shadowed memories and unsettling truths.

The film is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta & Star Studios and co-produced by Marijke deSouza & Somen Mishra. It’s story and screenplay are penned by Soumil Shukla & Arun Singh with dialogues by Kausar Munir & Jehan Handa. The Kayoze Irani directorial will release on JioHotstar on July 25.
