The Coronavirus pandemic has affected everyone but ultimately it’s the poor whose life has been completely devastated by the mayhem caused by the lockdown. In a recent viral video, a toddler was seen trying to wake up his dead mother at Bihar’s Muzaffarpur railway station. The plight of migrants have broken several hearts and now Shah Rukh Khan’s Meer Foundation has offered help and financial support to the child in that viral video.

Shah Rukh’s Meer Foundation, sharing a picture of the child with his grandparents, wrote, “#MeerFoundation is thankful to all who helped us reach this child, whose heart-wrenching video of trying to wake his mother disturbed all. We are now supporting him and he is under his grandfather’s care.”

The superstar retweeting the above post wrote, “Thank you all for getting us in touch with the little one. We all pray he finds the strength to deal with the most unfortunate loss of a parent. I know how it feels…Our love and support is with you baby.”

SRK has always been active when it comes to lending support to the people in need. Recently he along with his wife Gauri Khan came out in support of the people affected by the cyclone Amphan in Kolkata. From providing PPE kits to the medical staff to offering monetary help to the authorities, Shah Rukh is doing everything in his capacity to help people affected by this global pandemic.
