And so looks like Shah Rukh Khan has a new fan in making in wrestler John Cena. Two days back, John took to his Instagram page and shared a snap of SRK which had his inspirational quote attached to it. The quote read, ‘Learn to laugh at yourself, at every chance you get. If you manage to learn to not take yourself too seriously, no matter how big shot you become, you’ll instantly disarm life’s power to beat you down.’

Ram Gopal Varma to direct another biopic on Sanjay Dutt, highlighting the ‘real’ story

As we told you earlier, its raining biopics in Bollywood these days. Now joining the bandwagon of filmmakers making biopics is none other than director Ram Gopal Varma (RGV). Now you must be wondering whose biopic RGV is going to make, well folks you will be surprised to know that its none other than actor Sanjay Dutt!  Yes, you read that right!

So guys now brace yourself for yet another biopic on Sanju.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Ram Gopal Varma‘s version of Sanjay Dutt‘s biopic will specifically focus on the actor’s arrest in connection with serial bombings in Mumbai (1993) for an illegal possession of an AK-56 rifle. While Rajkumar Hirani‘s ‘Sanju’ starring Ranbir Kapoor, whitewashed Sanjay Dutt‘s image, according to the report in the tabloid Ram Gopal Varma’s biopic which is tentatively titled ‘Sanju: the Real Story’ will only focus on telling the truth regarding Sanjay Dutt’s arrest.

A source close to the development told Mirror, “That Dutt was doing drugs, was traumatised by his mother’s battle with cancer [she died just three days before the release of his first film Rocky], had multiple flings, many of them one night stands, is all well documented in Sanju’.’ However, Varma was disappointed that all the episodes relating to Sanjay Dutt’s run-in with the law were not showcased properly in Hirani’s film.

Revealing about Ramu’s research for the biopic, the source further added, “Ramu has been meeting Sanjay’s associates and cops involved with the investigation as part of his research. ”

Apparently, Ramu’s film will focus on facts like who were the people who threatened Sanjay Dutt’s family that led to the actor obtain the rifle and later how he got rid of it.

Sanjay was arrested under Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act (TADA), however later he was cleared of terrorism charges but sentenced by TADA court to six years of rigorous imprisonment under the Arms Act for illegal possession of weapons.

Confirming the reports of making a film on Dutt, RGV told the tabloid, “Yes I am making the film. will give details later.”

Now it has to be seen whom RGV will cast as Sanjay Dutt in his film. Until further details about this biopic are out, watch this space for more.
