Shah Rukh Khan

Bollywood’s Badshah Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie ‘Happy New Year’ is to release this Diwali. Well SRK is coming back after a gap of a year this time, his last was ‘Chennai Express’ that went on to break a number of records at Box Office. This time around there is no competition for Shah Rukh Khan’s movie as no film, whether big or small, is daring to arrive anywhere in its vicinity. No one is thinking of releasing their movie this Diwali when Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Happy New Year arrives’. Also ‘Happy New Year’ is being designed to release on the highest print count ever for an Indian film, there would be hardly any multiplex or reputed single screen left in the country for any other movie.

As per sources, “Happy New Year is all set to arrive on the weekend of Diwali which falls on Thursday, 23rd October. While it is yet to be seen whether the film hits the screens on Diwali or the day after that since it happens to be a Friday, the fact remains that it is going to be a solo release. For Shah Rukh Khan, it is going to be an uninterrupted run since the only three biggies of October, Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Bang Bang’, Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Haider’ and Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Mary Kom’ are all arriving on October 2, with Ayushmann Khurranna’s ‘Hawaizaada’ a week later. After that, there is no other film on October 17.This means that right from October 24 to November 7, it is going to be only ‘Happy New Year’ which would be ruling the roost.”

Sources further added that,”It makes sense after all. Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are coming back together again after ‘Chennai Express’ which is the second highest grosser in the history of Indian cinema. Moreover, Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan have delivered two big hits earlier in the form of ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Main Hoon Na’. ‘Happy New Year’ is being designed as an event release and when a film, scale, setting and release is as huge as this, it is only beneficial for other films to stay away.”

Seems like the Shah Rukh Khan Deepika Padukone combination is all set to break many records this year too.
