Chura Ke Dil Mera 2.0: Shilpa Shetty and Meezaan share a breezy chemistry in this foot-tapping number

As promised the makers of Hungama 2 have dropped the most awaited track from their film, Chura Ke Dil Mera 2.0. Featuring Shilpa Shetty and Meezaan, Chura Ke Dil Mera 2.0 is the remake of the iconic song of same name from Main Khiladi Tu Anari. Shilpa also featured in the original number alongside Akshay Kumar.

While Shilpa and Meezaan’s chemistry in the new version is undeniable, but the actress admitted that she missed Akshay Kumar. Calling Chura Ke Dil Mera 2.0 ‘old wine in new bottle’, Shilpa took to her Instagram handle and wrote, “Here it is, OLD wine in a NEW Bottle ?Missed the OG @akshaykumar, but #Filhaal, it’s time to steal @meezaanj’s heart ?❤️ #ChuraKeDilMera 2.0 song is out now! An ode from all of us to late #SarojKhan ji… thank you, @brinda_gopal master @anumalikmusic for keeping the soul intact ??#Hungama2(sic).”

Meezaan seems to be over the moon after matching steps with Shilpa. Sharing his excitement, the young actor posted, “Its finally out!! I still cant believe ive done this song with @theshilpashetty !! Its been SURREAL?❤️. Thank you @brinda_gopal for bringing out the best in me and challenging me! Thank you Anu ji for recreating this iconic song with a new twist whilst keeping the original soul intact. Love you sir❤️@anumalikmusic. Crooned by Benny Dayal and Anmol Malik, Chura Ke Dil Mera 2.0 is recreated by the original composer Anu Malik. The reprised version’s additional lyrics are penned by Rani Malik.

Featuring Paresh Rawal and Shilpa Shetty, Hungama 2 is the sequel of 2003 film Hungama. Also starring Meezaan and Pranitha Subhash, Hungama 2 marks Priyadarshan’s directorial and Shilpa Shetty’s acting comeback after almost a decade. The film will release on an OTT platform on July 23.
