Sonali Bendre celebrates ‘Read a Book Day’ in the most apt way

We all are aware of the fact that Sonali Bendre is an ardent book lover. The actress who is currently undergoing a treatment for high-grade cancer in the US, is making sure that her reading habit doesn’t get affected.

Sonali had even started a digital book club on Facebook last year, and her best friends Dia Mirza, Sussanne Khan and Gayatri Joshi are ensuring that it keeps running smoothly. Today is ‘Read a Book Day’ and Sonali certainly celebrated it in the best possible way. Marking the occasion, Sonali took to a photo-sharing site and wrote, “Today is #ReadABookDayand what better way to celebrate it than by announcing the next book for #SBC! This one is a historical fiction set in Russia called “A Gentleman in Moscow” by @amortowles. The premise sounds pretty interesting, and I can’t wait to start reading it! #SonalisBookClub”

With the post, Sonali announced the next book i.e ‘A Gentleman in Moscow’  that would be read in her book club. Sonali looked extremely happy and clam in the picture that she shared.

Sharing the journey of her fight against cancer, Sonali has been keeping her fans and followers updated with her inspiring posts. After shaving her head due to the ongoing treatment, Sonali decided to sport a wig. Yesterday, sharing her new look, Sonali had posted, “I like looking good for me. If I’m in the mood to wear a scarf, I will. If I want to walk around bald and free, I will. Only you know what would make you feel good, and what works best for you. So take every opportunity you can to #SwitchOnTheSunshine. #OneDayAtATime??
