Sonam Bajwa Recalls A Shocking Fan Incident
Speaking on Famously Fit with Sophie, Sonam Bajwa recalled an unusual fan encounter. The actress shared, “There was this girl who walked towards me, and she asked, ‘Are you Sonam Bajwa?’ I said yes, and she said, ‘I have to tell you something.’ She says that because of me, her engagement broke. I said, ‘I don’t know if I should say I am so sorry to hear that,’ but I was so stunned! Then she goes, ‘But I am very happy now, and I am engaged to somebody else.’”
She further shared the reason the fan gave for ending the relationship. Sonam said, “So she said, ‘I am super happy. I called off the engagement with that guy because he was obsessed with you. And he wanted me to look like you. He wanted me to have a body like you. It was just a lot for me, so I called off that engagement. But ab main jinke saath hoon woh mujhse bohot pyaar karte hain.’”
Bajwa added that she reassured the fan and expressed happiness over her choice to move on. And, to find a healthier relationship.

As of April 2026, Sonam Bajwa is set to headline the Punjabi comedy-drama Pitt Siyapa, scheduled for release on May 1, 2026.
