Soon after, they shared a warm hug, signalling that things had finally eased between them. During the interaction, Ssunita said, “14 saal ka vanvaas khatam hua.” Krushna added, “This was a big surprise. We did not know that she will join the show today. Thanks to her for agreeing to do this. With this, we have ended all speculations or rumours which made headlines in the last 12 years.”

For years, Krushna and Govinda did not stay in touch. Reports suggest the tension escalated around 2016 after a joke on The Kapil Sharma Show upset Govinda and Ssunita. As a result, Krushna even chose to skip episodes of the show when Govinda appeared as a guest. Over time, the distance between the families became a talking point in the industry.

In a conversation with Pinkvilla, she said, “How long can I be angry with my kids?” She added, “Why hold grudges when everyone is happy in their own space? I only want to give blessings to all the kids; they are like my own.” Later, during a podcast with Paras Chhabra, she shared, “Krushna grew up with me, along with Vinay, Dumpy, and my brother-in-law’s son. For me, they are all my children. I’ve forgotten everything from the past. Now I just want all the children to laugh, play, and be happy. I bless everyone.”

Now, with this public reunion, the family seems to have moved past the bitterness. The moment not only puts an end to years of speculation but also reflects a shift towards reconciliation.
