Sonam Kapoor to celebrate her 33rd birthday with beau Anand Ahuja in…

Last month, the ultimate fashionista of Bollywood Sonam Kapoor walked down the aisle with a Delhi-based businessman, Anand Ahuja. The two had been head over heels in love for over 4 years. Post her wedding, the actress took off to the 17th Edition of Cannes Film Festival to complete her work commitments. Well, this was the main reason behind pushing their honeymoon to October.

And now as the actress is about turn a year old on June 9, the cuties have left for London. Yes! the actress will be ringing in her 33rd birthday with hubby Anand at their London residence. The duo will be joined by Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor.

Confirming about her birthday plans, Sonam told DNA, “I’m going to be in London for work. So, Anand (Ahuja) is coming with me. My sister Rhea (Kapoor) will join us, too. It’s going to be a small celebration – we will go out for lunch, dinner and chill.”   She further added,“My friends, Shehlaa Khan and Samyukta Nair are the only ones who are coming with me. So, they will stay with Anand and me in our house there. We have just done it up — it’s a nice, cosy three bedroom property. There’s one more room and I want Swara to join us, but she won’t be joining us.”

Well, this is not the first time when Swara is giving a miss to her BFF’s special occasion. Earlier as well, Swara was on a verge to miss out on Sonam-Anand’s wedding but luckily their wedding date was pushed and she graced her presence. Nevertheless, Sonam is surely going to have a memorable birthday with Anand and few other friends by her side.

On the work front, Sonam is currently riding high on the success of her film ‘Veere Di Wedding.’
