Sonu Nigam azaan

Sonu Nigam’s Azaan row does not seem to end. After landing himself amid troubles with his remarks on early morning Azaan, the singer had to call a press conference at his home to clarify his stands. A cleric from West Bengal, dejected at his comments, even issued a fatwa against him wherein he demanded that Sonu shave his head off, wear a garland of shoes and tour the country. Responding to him, Sonu shaved his head during press conference!

Much chaos. Meanwhile, the singer has taken to Twitter again, this time to share a recording of Azaan. While the Azaan is clearly audible, the video is mostly of darkness; hence, seems to be taken early morning, before sunrise.

“Goodmorning India,” Sonu tweeted. Sarcasm? We know not! (Also Read: Rapper Raftaar has a witty take on the whole Sonu Nigam Azaan controversy)

As expected, the tweet has again attracted diverse reaction. Some are all in for harmony, while some say that one’s personal prayers shouldn’t bother others. Some have taken it personally and are bashing Sonu for showing intolerance.

We don’t see an end of the debate sometime soon!
