Sunny Leone

Come September and Sunny Leone and Sonakshi Sinha will clash at the box office as their respective films ‘Beiiman Love’ and ‘Akira’ release on the same day.

However, Rajeev Chaudhari, the director of ‘Beiiman Love’ says that the clash does not worry him and it should rather be team ‘Akira’ who should be worried.

“I know Akira’s releasing the same day, but Sunny has her own audience and is very popular as a heroine. If you see her track record, you will see she pulls in a good initial draw at the box office. More than me, they should get scared. While I won’t comment on someone else’s film, I know our film is attracting curiosity,” Rajeev told a leading daily.

He went on to emphasise that both the films fall under two different categories and will rightly cater to the target audience.

“While Sunny will be seen in a brand new avatar in ‘Beiimaan Love’ and fight for the upliftment of women, Akira is more action-oriented. It’s about Sunny’s transition from a working girl to a business tycoon and will teach one to fall in love with their careers and not emotions. She will be seen in her hot avatar too but it will be shown aesthetically. She has performed as well as Priyanka Chopra or Kareena Kapoor Khan,” he added.

Sunny’s last few releases included ‘One Night Stand’ and ‘Mastizaade’ have not done well at the box office. We are to see if a strong storyline fetches her more audience this time!
