Earlier today we came across reports which claimed that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apparently reached a conclusion in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. These reports also stated that CBI is very soon going to file a closure report in the late actor’s death case.

However, the central agency has refuted all these reports and called them erroneous.

Commenting on the speculative reports of filing closure report, CBI told ANI, “Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) continues to investigate the death of #SushantSinghRajput. There are certain speculative reports in media that the CBI has reached a conclusion. It may be reiterated that these reports are speculative and erroneous (sic).”

Well, now that the agency has issued an official statement we hope speculations surrounding their report ends. The ‘Kedarnath’ actor was found dead on June 14, at his Bandra residence. Ever since then his death is being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

Recently, AIIMS in their report to CBI had confirmed that Sushant died by suicide and they ruled out murder theory. The late actor’s family expressed their disappointment in the AIIMS conduct and they wrote a letter to CBI requesting them to form a new forensic team.

Meanwhile, Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was recently granted bail in the narcotics case filed by NCB. Sushant’s employees Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant were also granted bail. However, Rhea’s brother Showik Chakraborty continues to remain in NCB custody.
