Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is still a shock to us. The actor committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. The postmortem report also confirms the same. He was suffering from depression for the past few months and was on medication. His phone records say that Sushant was trying to call his ‘Pavitra Rishta’ co-star Mahesh Shetty (Sushant considered him as his brother) but he couldn’t receive his calls.

As per a report in India TV News, Mahesh gave a statement to the police where he stated that Sushant had stopped taking his antidepressant pills for the past few days. Sushant also informed Mahesh that he is fine now and he doesn’t need the pills. Mahesh further said that Sushant’s energy was low when he last spoke to him. He also said that Sushant wasn’t suffering from any financial crisis.

Reports suggest that there were four people in Sushant’s house including his two cooks. He had juice early morning and locked himself in his room. When he was not coming out of his room, his domestic help called for a locksmith. He was then found dead.

His father got the news through media reports and his health condition deteriorated after hearing about it. His family has left from Patna to Mumbai to perform the last rites of the actor today.
