Taapsee Pannu supports Rhea Chakraborty; says, “Every woman who is with relatively more successful man is not gold digger”

Ever since the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, a section of netizens are accusing his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty as the reason behind the actor’s death. His father also filed an FIR against Rhea and also alleged that a sum of Rs 15 crore was siphoned from Sushant’s account to Rhea Chakraborty’s account. From the CBI to ED to now the NCB, three agencies are probing the case. Rhea is the prime suspect in Sushant’s death case and the media trail on her has taken a nasty turn.

Many celebs have come in support of Rhea and slammed news channels for conducting media trial and declaring Rhea guilty. Now, Taapsee Pannu has also spoken in defence of Rhea. Reposting a tweet talking about Rhea, Taapsee wrote, “Every woman who is with a relatively more successful man is NOT a ‘gold digger’ and for the rest, truth and investigating agencies will do their job. One step at a time.”

Apart from Taapsee, Vidya Balan, Swara Bhasker, Shibani Dandekar too slammed the media trail on Rhea.

Meanwhile, a few hours back, Rhea left for NCB’s office for questioning. The actress’ lawyer Satish Maneshinde has issued a statement saying she is ready for arrest.
