It was yesterday, November 19 when renowned filmmaker Sanjay Gadhvi who is very well known for helming movies like Dhoom and Dhoom 2, passed away due to a heart attack. The tragic death of the renowned filmmaker had left the Bollywood fraternity mourning. The funeral of Sanjay Gadhvi is said to be happening today for which Bollywood celebrities including Tabu, Ashutosh Gowariker and Siddharth Anand were spotted arriving.

It is today, on November 20, when the last rites of Dhoom filmmaker Sanjay Gadhvi is being held amid the presence of Bollywood stars including Tabu, Siddharth Anand, Ashutosh Gowariker and more.

Previously, a report by Times Now shared that Sanjay Gadhvi had experienced chest pain while he was doing his morning walk. He was rushed to the Kokilaben hospital after he witnessed profuse sweating. After being taken to the hospital, the filmmaker was declared dead. Reportedly, he had also suffered a heart attack during his walk.

Among many, Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan, and John Abraham paid a heartfelt tribute to the Dhoom director. Hrithik Roshan had written, “Deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend Sanjay Gadhvi. Forever grateful for the moments we shared. He was instrumental in bringing out the Aryan in me. Couldn’t have done it without him. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed.” John Abraham shared a note for his Dhoom director as he wrote, “Remember the times I spent with you on the film closest to my heart #Dhoom. May the angels always ride with you. Rest in peace Sanjay Gadhvi.” Farhan Akhtar also penned an eulogy for the filmmaker and wrote, “RIP Sanjay. Deepest condolences to the family. Sad sad day.”

Among others, Esha Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Sikander Kher also mourned the tragic loss.
