The real reason why Sushant Singh Rajput opted out of ‘Half Girlfriend’

Since filmmaker Mohit Suri decided to make a film on Chetan Bhagat’s popular novel ‘Half Girlfriend’, news of Sushant Singh Rajput playing the lead role were doing rounds. However, soon rumours poured in that Sushant walked out of the film upon a  few disagreements with the makers. However, the actor himself has clarified it.

As reported by a leading portal, Sushant stated that he agreed to act in Dinesh Vijay’s directorial debut way before he was even approached for Suri’s ‘Half Girlfriend’. He hoped he would be able to shoot for both the films simultaneously but that didn’t happen. Thus, he had to walk out of ‘Half Girlfriend’.

Justified! We will miss Sushant in ‘Half Girlfriend’ but here’s wishing him luck for his next film.
