Ranveer Singh

The sole reason why Ranveer Singh, despite having no film background whatsoever, has come this far in Bollywood is due to his undeterrable spirit and dedication. Sure, he has had his share of hits and flops, but he does his best nevertheless.

Fitness expert and trainer Lloyd Stevens, a day back, took to Instagram and shared a throwback picture of Ranveer. You can see his amusing transformation. Do you know what’s more inspiring? The actor managed to achieve this in a span of as little as six weeks.

“6 WEEK #transformation with my boy @ranveersingh … Haven’t posted this in a long while but every time I look at it makes me very proud and remember that @ranveersingh and I worked extremely hard to achieve this result despite his extremely busy schedule that sometimes involved us working out at very late hours of the night or very early hours of the morning … never the less we got it done ???#goodtimes,” [sic] Lloyd wrote.

If this doesn’t give you fitness motivation, then nothing else will!

On the work front, Ranveer is now working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’. He plays historical character Alauddin Khilji, which has strong grey shades; and will once more be part of the same film with rumoured beau Deepika Padukone.

“What a guy! Can’t believe he does the things he does, he is an appalling human being. You can’t even call him a human being, call him a ‘haivaan’. You would love to hate him. You will be like, ‘I hate this person how can he be this way, how can anybody be this way, is there no compassion.’ He’s a hard guy,” he had said, describing his character.

‘Padmavati’ also features Shahid Kapoor and is set to release this November.
