Tiger Shroff and Sabbir Khan

Kritik Kumar Pandey, an aspiring filmmaker, accused actor Tiger Shroff and director Sabbir Khan of stealing the script of his film ‘MJ Return’. He stated that Tiger promised to do the film with him but insisted on knowing more about the plot; and now he is doing a film with Sabbir Khan with the similar storyline.

The ‘Baaghi’ actor-director duo, in response to this, has decided to take a legal move and file a case of defamation against Pandey.

Before they start working on the sequel of ‘Baaghi’,Sabbir decided to take his another film ‘Munna Michael’ to floors which would feature Tiger in the lead as well. According to Pandey’s allegation, it is a blatant copy of his script.

“Tiger took my story a year ago and kept coaxing me to give him more details about my project titled ‘MJ Return’. He had committed to doing the film with me, but he has now gone on to announce another project with a similar storyline.” Pandey said in a press note.

A source close to Sabbir revealed to a leading daily that he had already started consulting a lawyer regarding the same.

“Tiger and Sabbir haven’t even heard of a man called Kritik. He is doing it just for publicity. More often than not, filmmakers don’t take the legal route due to lack of time. But this news has come as a shock to Tiger and Sabbir as being embroiled in a needless controversy just after their announcement is the last thing they wanted. They are finalising paperwork to file a defamation case against this man.” the source added.
