EXCLUSIVE: Krishna Shroff Wants Jackie Shroff To Start A Food Channel; Says, “He’d Be Making Bank”

Krishna Shroff may stay away from films professionally, but cinema has always remained deeply rooted in her life through her family. From growing up watching Jackie Shroff on the big screen to cheering for brother Tiger Shroff in theatres today, Krishna has closely witnessed generations of stardom within the Shroff family. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Krishna opened up about her favourite films starring Jackie and Tiger, emotional childhood memories connected to cinema, and how food keeps the Shroff family bonded together. Krishna Shroff Reveals Her Favourite Films Of Jackie And Tiger Shroff

Talking about growing up around films, Krishna revealed that cinema has always been a huge part of her life because of her family background. “I’ve grown up watching dad’s movies, and now honestly the majority of movies I go to in theatres are Tiger’s. If I make the effort to go to a theatre, it’s going to be to support my brother.”

When asked to pick her favourite performances by her father, Jackie Shroff and brother Tiger Shroff, Krishna fondly recalled films that left a lasting emotional impact on her. “For Dad, I just love him in Hero. His look, he was who he is. That’s the movie that changed his life.”

Speaking about Tiger’s performances, Krishna admitted that Baaghi 2 and War remain her personal favourites. “For my brother, I think I loved Baaghi 2. Baaghi 2 was amazing, super emotional, made me cry a lot. And I’d say War. That’s the first time I saw him in a bit of a grey character where he kind of becomes a bit negative in the middle. So that was really cool to see. After that, I told him, ‘You got to play more villain roles. I really like him as the bad guy.’”

Recalling another emotional childhood memory connected to Jackie Shroff’s films, Krishna became nostalgic while talking about Bhoot Uncle and Teri Mehrbaniya. She said, “Oh my god. Bhoot Uncle. I forgot about that. I used to be so jealous of that little girl. That’s my dad. I’m going to cry right now honestly thinking about it. It was such a good movie.”

Apart from films, Krishna also opened up about how food and family time remain the biggest constants in the Shroff household. She said, “My dad is constantly sending videos. They’re mostly food related actually. Food is something that really connects the four of us. Whenever we have some time, we always meet over a meal at our favourite restaurant or at home. That’s something that’s always been consistent for all these years.”

She further shared that even their family WhatsApp group revolves around health tips, food discussions and recipes sent by Jackie Shroff regularly. “Family group chat is a lot of food, tips, what we should be consuming and what we shouldn’t be consuming, things like that. Dad is on it every day.”

Krishna Shroff Wants Jackie Shroff To Start An Audio Cookbook

Krishna also hilariously suggested that Jackie Shroff should launch his own digital food platform because of his passion for sharing food-related content online. “He needs to make an audio cookbook. For real, he can be making bank on that. By the way, I got him on the digital game.”

Sharing her thoughts on social media and content creation, Krishna added, “I told him, ‘Dad, it’s such little output for so much input. You’re getting so much for minimum effort.’ As opposed to shooting a whole feature film, put one reel out there, get done with that shoot in an hour. You’re making good money. It’s crazy.”

On the work front, Krishna Shroff continues to focus on expanding her fitness and wellness ventures while simultaneously building a strong presence in reality television.
