TROUBLE AVERTED: 'Kedarnath' makers withdraw their suit against Sara Ali Khan

A few days ago, it was reported that Sara Ali Khan has landed into a legal trouble. The actress, who is supposed to make her Bollywood debut with ‘Kedarnath’ alongside Sushant Singh Rajput, was taken to the High Court by the producer of the film citing the reason that last year, in September, Sara signed the film but now she is not available on the given dates of shooting.

Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan tried to solve the matter but failed to do so. The makers of the film then filed a lawsuit against Sara Ali Khan demanding Rs 5 crore. (Also Read: Even before her debut, Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara dragged to court)

As per a report in DNA, “When ‘Kedarnath’ landed into trouble and was stalled after a fallout between Abhishek Kapoor (Gattu) and Prernaa Arora, the agency that manages the newbie actress gave bulk dates in June and July to Rohit and Karan Johar for Simmba. Now that Ronnie Screwvala has come on board and is backing ‘Kedarnath’, Gattu and he wanted the same dates from Sara to complete their movie. They decided to take a legal recourse soon.”

The hearing for this case was going to be held today. However, Abhishek and Rohit have now mutually settled the matter outside the court.

A source told DNA, “Rohit and Gattu had a talk. Ronnie, too, was present at the meeting. The three filmmakers met on Sunday to discuss the matter. Karan (Johar) couldn’t be there as he’s holidaying in the US. They have come to a mutual agreement.” The source adds, “Sara will shoot simultaneously for Kedarnath and Simmba

“While she films ‘Simmba’, the ‘Kedarnath’ team will complete the portions that don’t include her and vice versa. The directors have worked it out,” the source concluded.
