Urmila Matondkar’s Instagram account gets hacked; actress files FIR

Actor-turned politician Urmila Matondkar’s Instagram account was hacked recently. Urmila took to her Twitter handle to inform her fans and followers. The ‘Rangeela’ actress also revealed that she has filed an FIR with Maharashtra Cyber.

On Wednesday, Urmila shared how her Instagram account got hacked. “My Instagram account has been hacked@instagram. First they DM you n ask to follow a few steps n verify the account n it then it gets hacked..really..!!??? #notdone(sic),” Urmila tweeted.

Here’s a screenshot of her hacked Instagram account. All her previous posts have been wiped out.

The actress further revealed that she has filed an FIR with Maharashtra cyber. “Cyber crimes” is not something that women should take lightly..as I went to file FIR on my @instagram ac hacking met this dynamic DCP #cybercrime @MumbaiPolice Smt. Rashmi Karandikar who enlightened me a lot more on the issue. Will surely be working on it in future. @MahaCyber1(sic),” she wrote in another tweet.

On the work front, after quitting Congress over a year ago, Urmila recently joined Uddhav Thackeray-led party, Shiv Sena. Recently, Urmila was also involved in a war of words with Kangana Ranaut after the latter called her a ‘soft porn’ actress.
