Vaani Kapoor stalked by a crazy fan; actress files police complaint

Being a Bollywood celebrity in the times of 24*7 internet and social media is not an easy thing to do. Now, actress Vaani Kapoor recently became a victim of stalking and she has lodged a police complaint. Sometimes, fans do get overboard and cross the line between liking a star and being crazily obsessed with them.

According to reports, the stalking incident happened when the ‘Befikre’ actress’ car began to gather speed to avoid a miscreant fan. The man in question, a certain Sameer Khan, was in no mood to give up. Vaani’s driver accelerated but Sameer was on a bike and started chasing Vaani for a few kilometers.

The chasing sequence by the crazy fan continued and Vaani obviously was not feeling comfortable. The actress headed straight to Versova Police station and was spotted filing an official complaint. The police have identified the culprit as Sameer Khan.

Fans have every right to connect with celebs but it cannot turn into stalking and invading someone’s personal space. Vaani Kapoor did the right thing by filing a complaint and let the law take its own course.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vaani was last seen in Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Befikre’. The gorgeous diva has Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt starrer ‘Shamshera’ in her kitty and would love to prove her mettle as an actress.
