Varun Dhawan admits being amused at getting Best Actor in comedy for ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’

It’s raining award season in Bollywood with back to back ceremonies. And the most recent one was the Star Screen Awards 2017 where many of the A-list celebs were in attendance. But here we will not be talking about which star made it to the awards night, as this story is all about actor Varun Dhawan, so let’s concentrate on him. So the scoop is something very hilarious where a fan of Varun Dhawan popped in with a strange but quite a good question for the lad. For the unaware, Varun Dhawan was facilitated for his exceptional performance in a comic role for ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ at the awards night. But we too think that if it is for his comedy then why ‘Badri..’ and not ‘Judwaa 2’. So while Varun was having a Q&A session with his fans on Twitter, he never knew he will be asked something so apt. So it happened that an upset fan of Varun Dhawan quizzed the star on “why did he accept the award given to him?”, to which Varun Dhawan replied through a tweet which we have shared it below:

The above tweet conveys that Varun too feels the same. And as per our viewpoint, if the title which was awarded to Varun was for his antics and crazy comedy, it needs to be ‘Judwaa 2’ and not any other film, given ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ was more of a lovey-dovey and emotional film.
