To avoid clashing with Toxic, the release was advanced to May 22, 2026. However, after Toxic was delayed, the makers of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai decided to stick to the original date, June 5.

Advance booking for Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai began on Tuesday. According to Sacnilk, the film has sold around 4,000 tickets so far, earning Rs. 16.21 lakh on the first day without blocked seats, and Rs. 95.54 lakh with blocked seats.

With the release still two days away, pre-sales are expected to increase. The trailer and songs of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai have received mixed reviews. So, we’ll have to wait and see what kind of response the movie gets at the box office.
