Varun Dhawan

Actor Varun Dhawan has been lending his support to a social cause of late. We are talking about the smoggy situation in Delhi which forced the actor to take to the streets of Delhi and start cleaning the garbage himself. He even shared quite a few videos and pictures of the same encouraging the youth to wake up and do something about the whole situation. However, this time, the actor did something unthinkable and has found himself on the wrong side of the law.

It so happened that while driving a car on the busy roads of Mumbai, when his car came to a halt thanks to the traffic, a fan sitting in the auto next to him tried clicking his pictures. And the next thing that Varun did was open the window of his car and click a selfie with the starstruck girl peeping out of his window. While, it may have seemed as a sweet gesture to his fans, it wasn’t right of him to do so in the middle of a busy road and that too jetting out of his car window as that could encourage his fans to do the same.

But this selfie got an unexpected response from Mumbai Police took to their Twitter page and said, “.@Varun_dvn These adventures surely work on D silver screen but certainly not on the roads of Mumbai! U have risked ur life,ur admirer’s & few others. V expect better from a responsible Mumbaikar & youth icon like U! An E-Challan is on d way 2 ur home. Next time, V will B harsher”

This tweet form the Mumbai Police is definitely witty and Varun Dhawan was quick with his reply appologising for his act.

Even though, his intention wasn’t wrong, the cops did catch him in action. Next time not only Varun but other actors will also beware as Mumbai Police has an eye on all and we are hoping that in spite his apology Varun will surely get an E-challan. Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor will be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘October’ which will be releasing on April 13, 2018. (Also Read: Picture alert!
