After making her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar starrer Samrat Prithviraj, Manushi Chillar is all set to share screen space with Vicky Kaushal. The two will be seen in YRF’s comedy-drama The Great Indian Family (TGIF). The makers have unveiled the poster and shared a hilarious release date announcement video. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya of Dhoom 3, Tashan and Thugs of Hindostan fame, the film is set to release theatrically on September 22nd this year.

Starring Manushi Chillar and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles, the film is set in the heartland of India and will revolve around the madness that ensues within Vicky’s family. It will happen due to some sudden developments that are beyond anyone’s control!

Vicky gave audiences a sneak peek into his madcap family in a hilarious release date announcement video. The actor is seen giving details about his family members and warns everyone to beware of his crazy family. He wrote in the caption, “Ek se badh kar ek, iss parivaar ke rang hai anek. Isiliye toh hum hai – The Great Indian Family. Milte hai on 22nd September! Celebrate #TheGreatIndianFamily with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you! (sic).” Watch the video here:

The Zara Hatke Zara Bachke actor also shared a poster of the film and wrote, “Hum sab se milne aayiye apne poore parivaar ke saath on 22nd September only at your nearest cinema hall!”

Vicky and Manushi’s upcoming movies

Post TGIF, Vicky Kaushal will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur. It is based on the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The film also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh in pivotal roles. It is slated to release on 1 December 2023. On the other hand, Manushi Chillar will be seen alongside John Abraham in Dinesh Vijan’s Tehran. She also has VT13 alongside Varun Tej in her kitty.
