Vivek Oberoi reacts to rumours of being hospitalized after Tamil actor Vivekh’s death

Veteran Tamil actor Vivekh passed away today early morning after suffering a massive heart attack. While his fans and celebrities all over the nation have been offering condolences to Vivekh’s family, many have mistaken him for Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi. There were reports doing the rounds that Vivek Oberoi has been hospitalised and is critical. Thankfully, Vivek has finally put an end to these rumours by clarifying that he is safe and healthy.

Vivek took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “There has been a false news report about me being hospitalised in Chennai,I would like to clarify that I am safe & healthy with my family in Mumbai,but deeply saddened to hear abt the demise of @Actor_Vivek from the Tamil industry. I extend my deepest condolences to his family?(sic).”

Meanwhile, talking about Vivekh, he was a Padma Shri awardee and comedian-actor. The Tamil actor was rushed to a hospital in Chennai yesterday when he complained of having chest pain. Vivekh had just taken the Covid-19 vaccine recently and had complained of chest pain even then. The actor had to undergo Emergency Coronary Angiogram followed by Angioplasty as per his health bulletin released by the hospital.

The medical professionals could not tell for sure if the vaccine was the reason for his condition. The bulletin said, “This is an acute coronary syndrome with cardiogenic shock. This is a separate Cardiac event. It may not be due to COVID vaccination.”
